Description

Facility Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Services for Memphis Internal Revenue Service Center. Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. TIRSE-04-Q-00016, dated 09/02/2004, was issued soliciting Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contractors. It is the government?s intent to award a combination firm-fixed-priced/time-and-materials type task order to the successful FSS contractor offering the best value to the government. The task order will consist of a base period ending 9/30/2005 and four 12-month option renewal periods. The task order will consist primarily of FSS priced services that are contained within one or more of the successful contractor?s special item numbers (SIN) awarded by General Service Administration under FSS No. 03FAC. It is anticipated that a small portion of the contractor?s firm-fixed-price may consist of open market items necessary to fulfill the government?s complete O&M service requirement outlined in the RFQ. It is also anticipated that a portion of the time-and-material priced services (related services to be ordered on an as-needed basis) may result in some open market items being procured during the course of the order period. Open market items may include such costs as subcontract and/or other direct costs not included in the successful contractor?s FSS award. The government intends to award a task order, and include any open market items if applicable, to that FSS contractor offering the best value, without seeking any further competition.
