Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a sole source order under Simplified Acquisition procedures to the Fortran Corporation of Newington, Virginia. SSA has a requirement for the installation of CAT 5 cable, surface block jacks, wall plates, 66 blocks, terminations and testing at the Mid-America Program Service Center (MAMPSC)in Kansa City, Missouri. The Fujitsu 9600 telephone system at the MAMPSC is currently being maintained by Fortran. All cable terminations must be programmed into the data base via the SITEMAN system management product. SITEMAN is a Fortran patented product that only a SITEMAN certified technician can access. Interested vendors shall provide information about their company and include the number and qualifications of employees, detailing previous experience and projects similar in scope to SSA?s requirement. Locations where similar equipment has been installed and maintained by the vendor shall also be provided. Proof of a SITEMAN certified technician is required. No cost or pricing data is required or requested. This is not a request for proposal, and the Government does not intend to pay for the information solicited or received. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of the source data received. Any interested organizations must submit appropriate data in duplicate within fifteen (15) days of this announcement. See note #15.
