Description

DYE, DISPERSE RED 9 (CAS #82-38-2) 10(methylamino)-9,10-anthracenedione; DEXTRIN type 1 – 95% water soluble from corn (CAS #9004-53-9). This dye is for the M18 colored smoke grenade. Must be in accordance with Specification MIL-D-3718C with No tice 1 dated 19 Apr 96 and ECP 155-0111, NOR 0008. The Management Control Number is 6820 01 X04. The NAICS Code is 325132 with a small business classification of 750 employees. This will be an unrestricted competitive acquisition. This acquisition will be a one base year quantity of 43,400 pounds plus 100% option quantity. FOB: Destination, Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff AK. First article is mandatory and price shall include first article. First article will be due 60 days after contract award. Production quantity will be 90 days after first article approval at a rate of 20,000 lbs per month till complete. Early deliveries will be acceptable. MSDS, COC, and test results (A Certificate of A nalysis) are required with each shipment. NOTE: The Government will not supply dye standards. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD Contract. You may register via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issuance and any changes to the solicitation. No hard copies are available.
