- Description
- HSCG87-05-B-643144 - Sewage Treatment Plant Replacement at USCG Loran Station, Shoal Cove, Alaska. The contractor shall provide all materials, supervision, labor, equipment, transportation and incidentals necessary to perform the following work at Loran Station Shoal Cove, Shoal Cove Alaska. Decommission an existing 1,500 gpd below grade wastewater treatment plant. Demolish and discard an existing wood frame building over the existing wastewater treatment plant. Demolition involves asbestos-containing materials. Provide a new 1,500 gpd manufactured package wastewater treatment plant and install below grade. Modify existing sewer pipe and provide new sewer pipe to make connections to/from the new wastewater treatment plant. Provide and install a new manufactured metal building system over the new wastewater treatment plant location. Excavate borrow materials on site, segregate and screen earth materials and transport to the project location. Mix concrete on site and install cast-in-place building foundation, slab-on-grade and sidewalks. Install electrical distribution in new metal building, including: disconnect, panelboards, transformer, lighting, unit heater(s), convenience receptacles and switches, etc. Install potable water distribution in new metal building, including: connection to wastewater treatment plant, hose station, sink, etc. Provide potable water piping with heat tape. Excavate and replace existing exterior sewer lines with double-wall containment piping. All work shall be completed between prior to September 15, 2005. The estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. This procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110 and the applicable size standard is $28.5 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responsible small businesses may submit a bid. A firm-fixed-price contract will be awarded. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form.
