Description
The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has an requirement for a service to open, inspect, report and possible overhaul of NSN 3810-01-468-5783, Drive Assembly, part number 52293, quantity 2 each, and NSN 3040-01-175-6019, Cylinder Assembly, part number 24057, qty 7 each. Manufacturer: Allied Systems Company. Repairs shall be accomplished in accordance with ELC Statement of Work. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room Bldg. 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. It is the Government?s belief that only Allied Systems Co. and/or their authorized repair facilities can perform overhaul. Interested sources that possess the capabilities of obtaining the required technical, engineering and manufacturing data from Allied Systems Co., and possess the capabilities of overhauling these pumps can submit information regarding capabilities. This information must include (1) complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics), 2) data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily overhauled for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. Request for Quotation (RFQ) HSCG40-05-Q-50095 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.eps.gov) on or about February 18, 2005. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the EPS systems for changes or amendments to the quotation. Note: In accordance with FAR Case 2002-24, Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-26, and FAR Subpart 4.12 - Annual Representations and Certifications, the use of ORCA will become mandatory as of January 1, 2005. ORCA is available through the Business Partner Network (BPN) at <http://www.bpn.gov/ >. Contractors will use ORCA to electronically submit annual Representations and Certifications (Reps & Certs). Contractors will no longer be required to submit hard copies of their Reps & Certs with each proposal. For contractors to be able to upload their Reps & Certs to ORCA, they must have an active Central Contractor Registration (CCR) record and a Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN).
