- THE AMENDMENT TO THIS SOLICITATION IS FOR THE FOLLOWING: THE VICINITY AND TYPICAL GRADING MAPS DUE TO FORMAT COULD NOT BE UPLOADED. THEY CAN BE FAXED OR MAILED UPON REQUEST. KACHINA VILLAGE ?03 FOREST HEALTH PROJECT SERVICE CONTRACT Kachina Village 03 Forest Health Project, RFP R3-WZ-05-020, requires harvesting designated trees (9"dbh), performing non-commercial thinning to prescription, treating resultant slash, performing associated erosion control and other obliteration work as described. Project consists of three bid items, which will be awarded by item. Item One: Kachina Mortgage, 419 acres of which 52 acres receive treatment; Item Two: Kachina James, 1217 acres of which 559 acres receive treatment; and Item Three: Kachina Pocket, 690 acres or which 365 acres receive treatment. RFP will be issued ON OR ABOUT February 17, 2005; a show me trip will be held at the Mormon Lake Ranger Station, 4373 S. Lake Mary Road, Flagstaff, AZ at 9:00 a.m. local time on March 3, 2005. Proposals must be received by Close of Business March 17, 2005.
