- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Nanofabrication Laboratory, has a requirement for Class 100 cleanroom tables and shelves onto which systems computers and the systems themselves will be placed. The requirement also includes mobile workstations. The fit up of all new and transfer tools in the Nanofabrication Laboratory is complete, therefore, it is necessary to have delivery of these products as soon as possible. The requirement shall include tables, shelves and computer workstations. NIST requires that all shelves and tables be Ultra-clean in their construction and compatible with the new Class 100 Clean Room Facility. Potential quoters must have the capability to provide the equipment and demonstrate experience providing equipment for a Class 100 Clean Room Facility. This requirement is being procured using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under full & open competition. The NAICS code for this requirement is 339111 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The competitive Request for Quotation (RFQ), specifications, attachments, subsequent RFQ amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at HTTP://WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFQ number SB1341-05-Q-0334. The RFQ is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about February 23, 2005, and will only be available via the Internet at the above web site. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the web site. Interested parties must respond to the RFQ in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. No written solicitation document is available, telephone requests shall not be honored, and no bidders list shall be maintained.
