Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Miami, Florida, has a requirement for equipment and materials for HIV/RNA 3.0 (bDNA) Quantiation Assay Testing for testing procedures. Reagents and materials must be compatible with Bayer HIV Instrument Testing. The VA Medical Center, Miami, Florida, is entering into negotiations with Bayer Corporation Diagnostics Division, 115 Norwood Park South, Norwood, MA 02062. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR Part 6.302. All interested parties are requested to give written notification including all pertinent data (descriptive literature, specifications, etc.). Offers are being requested and a written solicitation has been issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) number 546-23-05. This is a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The NAICS code for this Solicitation is 325413. The small business size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is unrestricted. Furnish and deliver materials for HIV/RNA 3.0 (bDNA) Quantiation Assay Testing for testing procedures for use on and must be compatible with the Bayer HIV Instrument Testing. Offerors will provide materials/reagents and equipment in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract. The contract period will be one base year from date of award, with two one (1) year options for renewal. Deliver FOB to VA Medical Center, 1201 N.W. 16th Street, Miami, Florida 33125. Purchase Orders will be placed against this Contract on an as needed basis. Delivery is to be made within 7 ? 10 days or order placement. Items needing refrigeration are to be marked on the outside of delivery box. Point of Contact will be Iris M. Offerors are responsible for obtaining any and all amendments or additional information. Amendments issued to this solicitation will be available at the same URL address provided above.
