Description
Sources are sought who can provide Edwards AFB, Air Force Flight Test Center with the following items: The Air Force Flight Test has a requirement for a PCU 808, Programmable Conditioning Unit with other components. The purpose of this component will be used to evaluate the pressure characteristics of the left engine bay to determine the cause of engine fire warning lights. PCU-800 Series I, Programmable Conditioning Unit-integrates analog and digital signal conditioning circuitry with high speed, fully programmable PCM Encoder. Data acquired by the system is conditioned, digitized and encoded in accordance with IRIG-106 telemetry, recording or diagnostic requirements. The user has full software control of all system features including channel gain, offset, and sample rate. Some additional features are controlled via connector strapping on the outer surface of the unit. AYDIN TELEMETRY's ADASWARE software is included with the hardware allowing a non-based computer running under the Windows environment: 2,4,8 and 16-slot chassis versions; EEPROM Programmable via RS232/422; Windows-based ADASWARE Software; Format Size up to 16K words/frame; +/- 0.5% Standard Accuracy over Temperature Range; 10-Wire Interface Ports: 1(standard); 4(Optional); 12-bit ADC with Programmable Gain & Offset; Wide Operting temperature range: -35 degrees C to +85 degrees C; *Model TTE-100-4, Time Code Card; *Model ARC-429T-1, 4-Channel ARINC-429 Bus Monitor; *Model BMC-553-2, 2-Channel MILSTD1553 Bus Monitor; *Model DFC-104-1; *Model AMC-316-1, Programmable Gain Multiplexer Card; *Model SCC-508-4, 8-Channel Accelerometer Conditioner; *Model FPC-104-1; *Model TCC-116-1K; *Model PSCC-108-1; Required features: System must be cable compatible with existing equipment, must be functionally compatible with existing equipment, must operate with "ADASWARE" software, and must accept up to 8 signal conditioning cards. Delivery must be 120 days after receipt of purchase order and FOB Destination. Attention: Above models are proprietary to L-3 Communications Aydin Corp., Telemetry-East. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
