Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotations (RFQ). Potential offerors will submit their quotes on company letterhead. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions and clauses appli es to this acquisition: 52.212-1: Instructions to Offerors, 52.212-2: Evaluation Commercial Items, 52.212-3: Offerors representations and Certifications- Commercial Items, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, 52.212-5 (Dev): Contract te rms and conditions to implement statutes and exeutive orders- commercial items. This procurement is 100% small business set aside. The Oregon Army National Guard is in need of having six (6) storage containers. Each storage container (connex) will consist of the following dimensions and fabrications. 40 ft. steel container fabricated from 14 gauge steel with outside dimensions of approximately 40 X 8.5 X 8. Container frames should as a minimum be constructed with 6-8 gauge steel. Each container is to have 4 each rollup doors that are six (6) feet wide, lockable with side bolt on the side of the container. There is to be partitions between each door (three total) constructed of 14 gauge steel and are to be bolted and welded to the sides. The floors are to be approximately 1 inch treated hardwood. Each container is to be weatherproof. Each container is to be painted inside and out in a beige color. Three of the containers are to be delivered to Portland, Oregon and three are to be delivered to Leb anon, Oregon The due date for the Request for Quotations (RFQ) is March 1, 2005 by close of business to this office, USPFO for Oregon, ATTN: USPFO-P, PO Box 14350, 1776 Militia Way SE, Salem, OR 97309-5047. To have a qualifying quote the contractor must be registered on the Central Contractors Registration database (CCR). Contractors must also have electronic funds transfer (EFT) capability.
