- Description
- The synopsis is modified to include a 100 percent option in the proposed contract. The items to be procured are the AH-64 Flyers Helmet Bag NSN:8415-01-406-6909, PN: 2-3-503 and the AH-64 Visor Storage Bag NSN: 8105-01-410-7420, PN: 2-3-522. Apache Helicopter AH-64 Flyers Helmet Bag, houses delicate lenses. To ensure no damage to the system the Helmet Bag must conform to all material requirements, and no substitutions can be made. It consists of Front and rear panels, top gusset, pencil poc ket, flashlight pocket, shoulder strap, lining, padding which is sewed together. Material must conform to MIL-C-43734, class 4. Webbing shall conform to MIL-W-4088, Clas2, and Type VIII. The Visor Storage bag for the AH-64 consists of sewn nylon cloth containing grommets and nylon cord. The Visor Storage bag must conform to the proper specifications so that no damage occurs to the delicate visor assembly. Material must conform to Mil-C-4 3734, Class 4 and Mil-C-43358. Grommets must conform to Mil-G-16491 Type III, Class 3, Size D . Polyester thread must conform to V-T-285, Sub Class B, Size E, Type I, color 483. Requirements are 4277 each Flyers Helmet Bags and 337 each Visor Storage Bags. FOB is destination. The items are for use with the AH-64 IHADDS Helmet. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. Estimated issue date is 4 March 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time s et for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
