Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Contracts Division, Code 2.5.1.2., Webster Field St Inigoes, Maryland intends to issue a firm fixed price contract with SBS Technologies, Commercial & Government Products Group, 2400 Louisiana Blvd. NE-AFC Bldg 5, Ste 600, Albuquerque, NM 87110-4316 to supply the subject item. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one resonsible source and no other service or supply will satisfy the agency requirements. SBS Technologies holds proprietary data rights for the subject processor and no other processor will satisfy the Government's minimum needs. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts shall consider all responses. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) www.ccr.gov database to be eligable for contract award or payment from any DoD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
