Description

The US Special Operations Command intends to issue Request for Quote (RFQ) H92241-05-T-0008 to modify an existing Infrared Exhaust Suppressor for the MH-47 (IES-47) to increase the structural integrity of the containment wall of the suppressor primary flowpath section and to modify the suppressor such that it matches the most current system design. A firm fixed-price contract is anticipated. Inspection and acceptance shall be at Origin by the Government. Anticipated delivery is NLT 15 APR 05. FOB and delivery point is FT CAMPBELL, KY. DPAS assigned rating is D0A1. The intended source is Allison Advanced Development Co, Inc. 2059 S Tibbs Ave., Indianapolis IN as they retain the data rights and are the sole designer and developer of the IES-47 Suppressor. The Government does not possess the engineering drawings to allow for full and open competition. Proposal(s) must be delivered to U.S. Special Operations Command, Technology Application Contracting Office, Attn: AMSAT-D-TK, 401 Lee Blvd., Fort Eustis, VA 23604-5577, no later than 1200 hours local time on 4 APR 05.
