Description

Questions and answers to date: 1. Please tell me what is the total amount of ram required on the server? The base server comes with 1 gig and you have requested hp part #287497-B21 which is also 1 gig. Please tell me if the total ram requires is 2g. A total of 2gig is required.** 2. In regards to the listed specs, there is a requirement for (6) six Ultra320 SCSI 146.8GB drives. There is also a requirement for (8) eight DiamondMax 10 ATA 300GB drives, presumably to be controlled by the Promise UltraTrak controller. Is it the intention to control the Ultra320 SCSI drives with the LSI Logic Ultra160 controller? Yes** 3. If we have a server system with an on-board Dual-Channel Ultra320 SCSI controller, and an ATA/100 controller, is it acceptable for us to utilize these on-board controllers, and provide the external SCSI and ATA drive arrays? Yes, that would be acceptable** 4. Can the required 6 Ultra320SCI drives also be provided as an external disk array? Yes, that is acceptable** 5. Is there no video required?
