Description
Defense Supply Center Richmond intends to acquire Aircraft Parts through the use of long-term contracts awarded against solicitation SP0412-05-R-1159. This solicitation is comprised of 82 NSNs with similar manufacturing processes. It is anticipated that split awards will be made against this solicitation. The resultant contracts will be Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). The contracts will have a twenty four month base period and three twelve-month option periods for a total maximum period of performance of 5 years if all options are exercised. The NSNs in this solicitation all fall under FSCs 1615, 1620, 1630, 1650, 1660, 1680, 2835, 2840, 4920, 5841, and 6615. Once released (see opening date below) the solicitation will be found at http://www.dscr.dla.mil/ExternalWeb/UserWeb/FAGA/index.html (click on Market Baskets). The drawings associated with these NSNs covered by this acquisition will also be found at website listed above. The solicitation will open on February 21, 2005 and close on March 21, 2005. The NSNs will be evaluated on a line-by-line basis and multiple contracts may be awarded. Contractors may quote on as many NSNs as they have the capability to perform on. The contractor shall function as a source of supply for the NSNs on this contract and consistently deliver parts to the DLA Depots. Delivery Orders will be issued to the contractor through the Paperless Ordering Placement System (POPs). The contractor shall interface with DoD Information Systems in an Electronic Commerce/ Electronic Data Interchange (EC/EDI) environment as specified in section titled ?System Interface and Integration? below. On an exception basis, manual delivery orders may be issued for these items.
