Description

The U.S. Military Academy requests interested parties to submit specs on circuit board plotters that meet the following requirements: 1. Create prototype printed circuit boards (PCB's) through a mechanical milling process rather than a chemical etch /plate process, 2. Pneumatic milling depth limiter with damping shock absorbers, 3. Can fabricate PCB's on standard, flexible, RF and microwave substrates, 4. Variable speed dust extraction system with auto on/off and two stage filtration system, 5. Softw are that allows PCB design, tracks tool life and provides smart motor warm-up, 6. No hardware dongle is required for software operation, 7. Produces 4 mil line widths and 4 mil spaces, 8. Total working area exceeds 21 inches by 14 inches, and 9. Programmab le spindle motor ranges from 5,000 - 60,000 rpm.
