Description

The proposed Single Award IDIQ Contract with four (4) Option years is being considered as a 100 percent set-aside for Historically Black Colleges or Universities (HBCU) and Minority Institutions (MIs) as defined by the clause at 252.226-7000 of the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement. Services requested consist of conducting oral histories of selected military and civilian employees and prepare an annual historical report and to perform archival/secondary research on a specified topic or subject related to the history of the Corps of Engineers Southwestern Division. All interested HBCUs and MIs should provide the contracting office as early as possible, but not later than 15 days after this notice, evidence of their capability to per form the contract, and a positive statement of their eligibility as an HBCU or MI. If adequate response is not received from HBCUs and MIs, the solicitation will instead be issued, without further notice, as unrestricted. Therefore, replies to this not ice are also requested from all other sources. The Request for Proposal will be available on or about 28 February 2005 with proposals due on or about 16 March 2005. NAICS code for this procurement is 541720. HOW TO OBTAIN RFP: In order to receive a gov ernment contract award all contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
