- NAICS Code: 51121 This amendment is issued to supplement the current announcement for RFQ-GA-05-00012 to clarify the items EPA, Region 4 intends to purchase under this solicitation and to extend the due date and time for receipt of quotations. EPA Region 4 intends to purchase the following items: 1) Environmental Data Management System Software in accordance with requirements listed below, 1) 1 server license, 5 concurrent use licenses; 2) Annual Maintenance for one year following delivery and installation of the software system, 12 months; 3) RockWorks 2002 or third party equivalent (see* below) 5-copies, 5 concurrent use license, software and interface to database, 1 each; 4) LogPlot 2003 or third party equivalent (see* below) 5-copies, 5 concurrent use license, software and interface to database, 1 each; 5) Golden Software's Surfer Version 8 (not version 8.5 as previously requested) or third party equivalent (see * below), 5 copies, 5 concurrent use license, software and interface to database, 1 each; 6) ArcGIS 9, 10 concurrent use license, interface to database only, 1 each; and 7) Software interface for browser-based access to database, 5 concurrent use license, 1 each. (See Environmental Data Management System Software, Paragraph 2, in the original solicitation). In addition, clarification is provided to the following requirements: Under Environmental Data Management System Software, Paragraph 1, regarding the statement "Other visual information tools considered important are RockWorks 2002, LogPlot, and Surfer 8.5." (Note this amendment changed the version of software to version 8 as noted in item no. 5 above. * The Region is requiring the vendor to provide and support the interfaces between the Environmental Data Management System and the above mentioned software packages or third party equivalents. A vendor with an internal solution must also provide software interfaces to RockWorks 2002, LogPlot, and Surfer 8 or third party equivalent software packages. Third party software packages are required because the Region needs the flexibility to change software as determined necessary due to changes/developments in the software market. Under Paragraph 3. h., the statement "The system shall natively support the Region 5 Electronic Data Deliverable (EDD) - see URL http://www.epa.gov/region5superfund/edman/." means that files shall be formatted in the same manner as Region 5. The Manual for Electronic Data, Version 1.1, EPA Region 5, dated June 2004 is located in the aforementioned website. The manual provides instructions for formatting the EDDs using a variety of software, not just the Electronic Data Processor (EDP) software manufactured by Earthsoft. The revised due date for submission of quotations is changed to 4:30 P.M. on March 8, 2005.
