Description: The Military Surface Deployment and distribution Command (SDDC) intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP), W81GYE-04-R-0043, on or about November 30, 2004 with proposals due on or about January 3, 2005. SDDC intends to award a negotiated four-year , fixed-price, indefinite quantity contract for Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) for SDDC 834th Transportation BN at Military Ocean Terminal Concord (MOTCO), Oakland, Long Beach, and San Diego. S&RTS will include, (but not limited to) rece iving, staging, cargo preparation, onward movement (rail/truck/ship/convey) intra-terminal transfer, loading, and billing. The Offeror will arrange for and provide Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services, including all material and equipment, except thos e materials specified as Government Furnished in accordance with the Performance Work Statement in the RFP. NAICS Code 488320 and Federal Supply Code (FSC) V114 will apply. Cut off date for questions will be 10 days after the release date of the RFP. Sources interested in this procurement shall provide a response via-ema il to the Government Point of Contact identified below.
