Description

The U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command Acquisition Center (RDECOM AC) is seeking qualified sources for performance under a commercial award. Solicitation number W911SR-05-R-0013 has been created for the effort entitled Operati on and Maintenance of a Deployable Response and Graphic Operations Network (DRAGON) and other information technologies (IT). Although the resulting contract will be unclassified, the successful contractor shall have to meet Top Secret requirements for pe rsonnel and facilities. Additionally, the contractor will be required to travel within and without the United States on a frequent basis; biweekly at a minimum. The objective of this effort is to establish connectivity with other DoD, Federal, State, and Local Emergency Centers to enhance response capabilities at all levels by complimenting existing mapping, modeling, and hazard prediction effort. This is a commercial acquisition under FAR Part 12 and its supplements. The successful offeror shall have a staff that is highly experienced, educated, and skilled in information technology, information management, and information assurance/security. It is the Governments intent to award this contract based upon lowest price, minimum standards. The Governmen t does not currently have funds for this effort.
