Description

The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requireme nt or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government intends to negotiate with Tripler Lodging on a sole source basis to acquire handicap accessible billeting rooms adjacent to Tripler Army Medical Center on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii, to house soldiers that the hospital cannot accommodate. Pe riod of performance is 1 March 05 through 28 February 06 with up to 4 prepriced 12-month option periods. NAICS 721199, All Other Traveler Accommodations. TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED.
