Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The location of the work is at Pease Air National Guard Base, Newington New Hampshire. The New Hampshire National Guard wishes to contract Project Number: SZCQ 009019, Upgrade Aircraft Parking Apron (Phase II). Work inclu des: reconstruction of portions of existing parking apron. This work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the demolition, removal, and replacement of up to approximately 45,000S.Y. of the existing 14-inch thick, unreinforced portland cement concre te (PCC) aircraft parking apron pavement. The work also includes the demolition and removal of a portion of the existing storm drainage system under the apron including reinforced concrete piping (RCP) and catch basins and replacement with new RCP and cat ch basins. Magnitude of construction is $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. Performance period estimated at 365 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Standard Industry Code for this project is: SIC 1629 and Bid Bonds are required. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued under solicitation number W912TF-05-B-000_. Solicitation for this project is tentatively expected to be issued on or about March 15, 2005. The tentative bid opening date is April 29, 2005. Information regarding obtaining plans and speci fications will be provided in the Solicitation Notice. This is an unrestricted procurement using sealed bid procedures.
