Description

The work consists of Dredging approximately 1,200,000 cubic yards of maintenance material from a deep water channel. Will use Mid-Bay Beneficial Use Site  no levee work. The Galveston District's Subcontracting goals are: Small Business - 50.9%; S mall Disadvantaged Business - 8.8%; Woman-Owned Small Business - 7.2%; Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business - 0.5%; Hubzone Small Business - 2.9%. Bid Opening will be held in Room 175. The plans and specifications will only be available via this w ebsite, on the issue date. It is the contractor's responsibility to register on the website, to download plans and specs, and to check daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or the Interne t. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. All contractors are encouraged to visit the Army's Single Face to Industry website at: http//acquisition.army.mil to view other bus iness opportunities.
