Description
The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Project No. G09907-2937 (1) G,S, is a proposed grading, drainage, and paving project, approximately 0.97 miles in length. The project consists of grading, drainage structures, removal of small structures and pavement, construction of aggregate base, asphalt paving, signing, seeding, sodding, erosion control and striping. The project is located in the town of Antlers, Pushmataha County, Oklahoma. The project has four legs all contained in Section 8 and 9, Township 4 South, Range 16 East. The first leg begins at the northwest corner of Section 9 and extends approximately 1,500 feet in a southerly direction. The second leg begins approximately 600 feet east of the northwest corner of Section 9 and extends approximately 930 feet in a southerly direction. The third leg begins approximately 660 feet south and 700 feet west of the northwest corner of Section 9 and extends approximately 700 feet west, thence approximately 1,500 feet in a southeasterly direction. The fourth leg begins 450 feet west and 660 feet south of the southwest corner of Section 9 and extends approximately 525 feet in a southerly direction. The cost range is between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. All Contractors are to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database via website (http://www.ccr.gov). A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., Local Time at the place of conference, Room 210, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Oklahoma Region, 3100 West Peak Boulevard, Muskogee, OK and all bidders who are interested in placing a bid for this Solicitation are required to be present at the Pre-Bid Conference. Bid documents may be requested on or after March 11, 2005, with a $50.00 (non-refundable) cashiers check, certified check, or money order made payable to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Oklahoma Regional Office, Division of Acquisition, Room 216, P.O. Box 8002, 3100 W. Peak Boulevard, Muskogee, Oklahoma 74402. Cash, Personal or Company checks will not be accepted. Bid Opening will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2005, 10:00 A.M., Local Time at the place of bid opening, Room 210, Bureau of Indian Affairs, 3100 W. Peak Boulevard, Eastern Oklahoma Regional Office, Muskogee, Oklahoma 74402. All responsible sources may submit an offer providing they attended the Pre-Bid Conference. Section 7(b) of Public Law 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450e) and 41 CFR 14.1.354, requires preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaska Native individuals and that preference in award of subcontractors be given to Indian/Alaska Native Economic Enterprises.
