Description: Contractor furnished multi-engine high wing aircraft, Aero Commander 680FL or equal, for aerial survey of harbor seals along coastlines of lower and central Cook Inlet of Alaska for NOAA. The surveys will be at intermittent time frames of 4/8 - 13/05, 6/5 - 12/05, 8/2 - 10/05, and 10/2 - 8/05, for an estimated 130 hours of flight time. Aircraft shall be able to fly 6 hours without refueling, have bubble windows or flat, untinted windows in good condition for photography, headsets for observers, GPS, extended over-water survival equipment, AFF Satellite Tracking System with SAT phone. Pilot will have Alaska aerial marine mammal survey experience. Vendor shall be approved under the Alaska Aircraft Rental Agreement with Dept of the Interior.
