Description
This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. TFMSHQ050047 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23. The North American Industry Classification System code is 531120. This competition will be open to all qualified offerors. The U.S. Dept of the Treasury, Financial Management Service (FMS), 401 14th Street, SW, Washington, DC 20227, intends to award a purchase order utilizing simplified acquisition procedures, provisions, and clauses for a three (3) day conference meeting room to accommodate 400 guests. Vendor to provide space for legal meeting/conference for up to 400 attendees over the course of 3 days. Requested dates of conference: 5/16-18/2005. Seating shall be in a classroom style. Equipment to be provided for the duration of the conference: LCD Projector 1 ea, Fast Fold Screen 1 ea, Tripod screens 2 ea, Wireless microphones 7 ea, Wired microphones 3 ea, 16 channel mixer 1 ea, Flipcharts with markers 3 ea, Projector carts 3 ea, Power strips 3 ea, Extension cords 3 ea. Quote should contain pricing for A/V tech labor. An all day break package is required for all 3 days of the conference. Break package should be priced as in a separate room or rooms from conference facilities (but close by) for seating for up to 35 people. Meetings to run from 8:00am to 5:00pm daily. A room block of 40 rooms per night (5/15/05 through 5/17/05) is requested. (Total of 120 room nights). Government will not be responsible for guaranteeing rooms. Attrition rates shall not apply for room nights.
