- Description
- NAICS Code: 926120 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Transportation and Air Quality (OTAQ), Transportation and Regional Programs Division (TRPD) intends to award a sole source fixed-price Purchase Order to National Academy of Sciences (NAS) Transportation Research Board (TRB) of Washington, DC. The purpose of this acquisition is to disseminate information to the transportation and environmental research community through NAS and TRB co-sponsored workshops. Sponsorship will include furnishing staff, facilities, supplies and other services to support transportation-related and environmental research activities of TRB and the dissemination of such information. EPA shall hold membership on the NAS Executive Committee which determines the overall policies and practices of the TRB. EPA will have access to workshops, information services, and a national conference, in addition to more than 25 committees of direct interest to the TRPD. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 926120. It has been determined that because of the unique ability of the TRB to provide the largest national forum for the technical community representing key industry stakeholders in the transportation field, and professional research agendas concerning transportation and environmental policy, it is the only vendor uniquely qualified to meet this requirement. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. However, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement stated herein may submit a response, which if received by the response date in this announcement will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed Purchase Order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All question should be directed to Jami Rodgers via e-mail at rodgers.jami@epa.gov.
