- Description
- Department of State, Office of Acquisitions, intends to issue a sole-source award for Inovonics Wireless system to Inovonics Wireless Corporation, 315 CTC Boulevard, Louisville, CO 80027-3078. The purpose of the Inovonics Wireless system is to provide a working Imminent Danger Notification System (IDNS) solution. The IDNS system is intended to warn Embassy personnel of an immediate plausible threat by sending the required signal to the Federal Signal SelecTone Command and control unit for initiation of the Duck and Cover Emergency tone activation. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Response(s) must be received by February 25, 2005 to the effect that comparable items are available and are more advantageous to the Government than obtaining these items through the proposed Contractor; otherwise a sole-source award will be made. The anticipated award date is March 1, 2005.
