Description

Sources Sought: The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA/VA), James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital located in Tampa, FL, is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of SMALL BUSINESSES capable and interested in providing Mail Equipment/Scale/Printer Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance at the Department of Veterans' Affairs, VA Outpatient Clinic located at 5201 Raymond Street, Orlando, FL. Independently, and not as an agent of the Government (the Customer), the Contractor shall furnish (excluding consumable items), materials, parts, equipment, labor, supervision, management and transportation to perform preventive maintenance on the following Government owned equipment, to include all emergency and routine repairs: Mail Processor, Model 6100, Computer, Model J487; Scale, Model J075; Printer, Model F123; Paragon Mail Processor, Model UB3W; Paragon Feeder/Sealer, Model UF10; and Power Stacker, Model USPO. The anticipated performance period is July 1, 2005 through September 30, 2005, with 4 twelve month renewal option periods. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12. The NAICS Code is 811212 and the size standard is $21.0 million dollars. Responses to this announcement shall determine if sufficient competition exists in the small business community in order to set this procurement aside for small business concerns. The anticipated release date of the solicitation package is May 9, 2005. Please provide interest in this solicitation by responding to this announcement no later than 3:30 p.m. March 4, 2005.
