Description

Sources Sought: The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA/VA), James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital located in Tampa, FL, is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of SMALL BUSINESSES capable and interested in providing Preventive Maintenance for 3M/Surgical Prod ETO Gas Sterilizer, MDL: 5XL1 and Donaldson/Torit ETO Abator System, MDL: Donaldson 50 at the Department of Veterans' Affairs, VA Outpatient Clinic located at 2900 Veterans Way, Viera, FL. Independently, and not as an agent of the Government (the Customer), the Contractor shall furnish all parts, labor, travel, unlimited service calls to maintain the above-mentioned equipment in optimum operating condition. The anticipated performance period is July 1, 2005 through September 30, 2005, with 4 twelve month renewal option periods. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12. The NAICS Code is 811219 and the size standard is $6.0 million dollars. Responses to this announcement shall determine if sufficient competition exists in the small business community in order to set this procurement aside for small business concerns. The anticipated release date of the solicitation package is May 9, 2005. Please provide interest in this solicitation by responding to this announcement no later than 3:30 p.m. March 4, 2005. Please indicate business size, capability statement(s), and other pertinent information about your business. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS.
