Description
Any questions regarding this solicitation should be address to: Robert Pipchick at rpipch@pica.army.mil. The Government intends to award on a sole source basis, a contract for Item 0001, Software Block Upgrade and System Support for the Paladin Program to UTRS, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2). The contractor will be required to provide technical engineering skills for software engineering and development actiivites. Performance is a six month period after date of award.. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services, prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-26 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation document; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Responses must contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. The FAR provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items applies. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and the clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.225-13, Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases applies. FAR 52.232-33, Payments by Electronic Funds Transfer applies. All provisions and clauses are available at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be eligible for award. See Numbered Note 25. ARDEC Clause 68 will apply. Responses are due by 1600.
