Description

This Sources Sought announcement seeks to identify whether potential small business sources are interested in submitting a proposal that can meet the requirements of serving as one qualified prime for a firm fixed price contract for manufacturing cap ability and delivery of 14,000 swivel mounts, NSN 1010-01-264-6517, Part Number 12598617. The size standard for NAICS Code 332994 is 1,000 employees. This announcement also provides the government opportunity to conduct Market Research and to better descri be the government's requirement and an understanding the capability of industry (See FAR 10). This market survey announcement is for informational planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposals or Invitation for Bids nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Information submitted does not constitute a proposal, but will be considered an exchange of capabilities and ideas. Any proprietary information should be properly identified. The Government will not reimburse c ontractors for any costs incurred in responding to this announcement, or in subsequent exchanges of information. Information is being sought on product capabilities, suppliers' capabilities, quality controls, and business practices.
