- This project will add approximately 4000 square feet of Computer Room Area to the EMSL (Room 1119). The project includes installing new foundation, building structure, building enclosure, Liebert air conditioners, piping, electrical service, UPS power capacity, HVAC unit for the UPS room, fire suppression system components including sprinklers and alarm system, etc. to support the new computer expansion. The expansion will provide the same normal power and mechanical capacity per square foot of actual computer space as the existing computer room area. The new expansion will install only one 450 KVA UPS unit and will not have a backup generator. The computer is being procured by Battelle and is scheduled to be delivered in FY06 (Delivery Dates will be provided when they become firm).
