Description
SINGLE SOURCE ANNOUNCEMENT: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), acting on behalf of the Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI), herein announces an annual requirement for a medical consultant to the Federal Air Surgeon and the Office of Aerospace Medicine. In accordance with Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.2.4, the FAA Product Team has made a determination to solicit this requirement under single source acquisition procedures with Dr. Garrison Rapmund, M.D., Bethesda MD. DOT/FAA anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements contract with firm-fixed unit pricing consisting of a base year and two renewable 1-year options. Estimated Annual Requirement (EAR) is 200 hours of service. National Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541690. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: DOT, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (SADBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
