- Description
- Questions & Answers 24 Feb 2005 1. Have the exhibits described in the Scope of Work been designed and drawing packages have been sent out to bid? Answer: The exhibits are designed; the exhibit awardee will be responsible for obtaining the specifications to build the props and aircraft models to scale and with accurate colors and markings. This order will be for advisory and assistance services. 2. Can you identify how complete the graphic/image selection is (50%/75%/95%/etc.) to determine hours required for this work? Answer: The designs are 100% complete. However, advisory and assistance services are required for accuracy and completeness of the designs. 3. Will editing of an existing exhibit script be required, or is there a requirement for extensive writing? Answer: No, extensive script writing will not be required, however, the awardee for assistance and advisory services will be required to review, comment, and correct as necessary in line with the entire project scope. 4. Am I clear that 100% of all design and production of audio/visual components is still required? Answer: The exhibit awardee is responsible for specifying and supplying all multimedia equipment and interconnecting wiring to successfully run the videos, with the exception of the 3 plasma screens provided by the Government. (Electrical and comm outlets are already included in the Construction phase.) The advisory and assistance services awardee will oversee and inspect the installation and operation of the equipment to ensure working order and full compliance. 5. Should I include pricing for production of a/v components? Answer: You should include pricing for any of the work you will be providing under advisory and assistance services. If so, do you have an established budget for this item? There is not an established budget for this item as the assistance and advisory services will be bid as a single lump sum item. 6. Is there a projected start date? Answer: Anticipated date of award is 1 Mar 2005. 7. Would successful bidder live on base or should pricing include Federal Government per diem rates for the area Answer: No, the successful offeror will not live on base.
