- Description
- The following questions and answers were asked as a result of the site visit held on 22 Feb 2005. 1) Will the ceiling fans remain in the facility for demolition? Answer: We will pull the fans prior to demolition. 2) Does the roof contain asbestos? Answer: No tests have been performed on the Roof to determine if there is asbestos or not. 3) Who will cut the power to the buildings and who will remove the electrical lines? Answer: Civil Engineering will disconnect the power and disconnect the electrical lines from the transformer. The Contractor will be required to pull the lines between the transformer and the building. 4) In addition to the footings and the concrete slabs as stated in the SOW, what other sidewalks/curbs will be removed? Answer: ***Contact julian.kaelin@lajes.af.mil for an electronic copy of Building T-245 clarifying what sidewalks/curbs are to be removed.
