- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Service Argos, Inc., Upper Marlboro, MD under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is in accordance with a Statement of Work that describes standard service for location and data collection, auxiliary location processing service, multi-satellite service, Telnet on-line and dial-up access, with data provided on CD-ROM for a one-year period of performance. The action is being conducted under FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price, purchase order. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
