- Description
- The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service intends to issue a contract to Project for Public Spaces, New York, NY, a nonprofit technical assistance, research and educational organization in accordance with 41 U.S.C.253(c)(3). Industrial Mobilization; engineering; developmental, or research capability; or expert services. No other solicitation documents are available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and a determination by the Government to compete this proposed action will be based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. The proposed contract action which may include one base year and possible two option years, is to provide technical support and staff development to GSA urban development programs, project, teams and policymakers. The following types of services will be required: Background Analysis (data collection; conduct interviews/surveys and partner meetings; on-site pedestrian and client surveys, activity mapping); Onsite Project Assistance (placemaking workshop research and material preparation; facilitating placemaking workshops); Training (develop and conduct training courses, presentations, and materials on the principles and techniques of community-sensitive design and partnerships); Tools/Research (research and development of informational tools). Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
