- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a Purchase Order to Data Processing Techniques, Inc. of West Orange, NJ for the annual maintenance/support services of the proprietary software product PDS Monitor Software for the period of May 1, 2005 through April 30, 2006. This software maintenance is currently known to be available only through Data Processing Techniques, Inc. The PDS Monitor software is used to produce SSA?s monthly vendor software usage reports. Other organizations that believe they are capable of meeting SSA?s requirements are invited to submit information concerning their capabilities, experience, and other pertinent data. Pricing data may be submitted. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. If SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing this software maintenance and any relevant upgrades, SSA shall issue a sole source award under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. This is not a request for proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of the information received. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice must be submitted by 03/09/05. Responses can be sent via email to Angie Landis at Angie.Landis@ssa.gov. No submissions may exceed 5MB.
