Description
Notice of Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for research opportunities for synthesis projects relevant to the status of unrecovered injured resources and services pursuant to the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Restoration Work ? The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is issuing a BAA on behalf of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee Council requesting restoration research proposals concerning factors affecting the recovery of resources injured by the Exxon Valdez oil spill. The request encompasses categories identified in the ?Federal Fiscal Year 2006 Invitation for Proposals" that was issued by the Trustee Council on February 11, 2005. Additional details on the proposal categories and Invitation may be downloaded at the Trustee Council's website at: http://www.evostc.state.ak.us/admin/Invitation/index.html. Other useful documents and information is available to download at the website. If you represent a private organization, a non-profit group, or a university from a state other than Alaska, you may submit a proposal through this BAA. The proposal requirements and evaluation factors are included in the BAA; interested parties may register to receive notification and as an interested vendor to download the BAA from the issuing office listed above. BAA proposals are due on April 15, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. Seattle local prevailing time. The BAA Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation will be available on or about March 1, 2005, through the Government's website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Interested parties should use the FedBizOpps REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION and REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR feature which provides notification when the RFP becomes available for download and all postings associated with the solicitation. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued and no telephone, facsimile, or written requests will be accepted. It is incumbent upon interested parties to register at the solicitation's site for notification and to review the site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
