Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 ? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a requirement for telephone maintenance service for the Miami Military Entrance processing Station (MEPS) NEC 2000 system from 1 Apr 2005 ? 30 September 2009. The contractor shall furnish all transportation, equipment, and labor necessary to provide telephone maintenance services at Miami, FL Military Entrance Processing Station, (MEPS). 7789 NW 48th Street, Miami, FL 33166. Payments will be made by: Government Purchase Card (GPC) The government intends to award a single Blanket Purchase Agreement to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-05-T-0018 is issued as a Request for Quote NEC 2000 Phone Service. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code 4812 of 1,500 business size of and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 517211. GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 01 Mar 05 at www.eps.gov . Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-2706), or e-mail.
