Description

Solicitation /Synopsis: This Combined Solicitation/Synopsis for Commercial Items is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation FA4613-05-T-0003 is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-26, Effective 19 Jan 2005. This purchase order is set-aside for a Small Business (SB) under The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) 532412 and dollar standard of $6,000,000. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE: Five month rental of one Soil Compactor/Roller without operator. The model must be equivalent to or better than the Ingersoll-Rand Model SD-100 with an 84 inch wide smooth drum roller and a weight of 10431 KG or more. Static Axle load front: rear vibration frequency 33.8 HZ, Max centrifugal force 258 KN, amplitude 1.92/1.29 MM, drum diameter, drum shell thickness 25 MM, drum width 2134 MM, Cummings Diesel engine BTA 3.9-C, 93.2 KW 125 HP 2200 RPM. Non-routine maintenance must be covered by this Purchase order but ordinary maintenance such as greasing will be performed by the customer. The rental period will be from 1 April 2005 until August 31, 2005. All quotations should be quoted as a monthly rental price to include FOB Destination to and Pick Up from FE Warren AFB, WY 82005-2860. If a contractor proposes equipment other than what is specified in the solicitation, they will need to provide technical specifications as part of their quotation. All Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Defense (DFAR) and the Air Force (AFFAR) clauses and provisions referenced below may be reviewed and/or obtained from the Federal Acquisition Regulations web site at Internet address http://farsite.hill.af.mil.
