Description

The National Park Service intends to issue a Request for Quotes, RFQ, for Archeology Collection Condition Survey and Object Conservation Oversight including evaluation and treatment of archeology objects in the collections managed at Southeast Archeology Center including glass, ceramic, and organic objects from Atlanta Coast Cluster Park units. The work must be performed in the Southeast Archeology Center facility. The Conservator must meet minimum requirements as defined in this annoucement and must comply with the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the American Institute for Conservation in all work performed. The conservator must be a member in the American Institute for Conservation under either of two categories, Professional Associate or Fellow. You may access this information from the AIC website: http://aic.stanford.edu/. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Parts 13 and 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). For this solicitation the following criteria will be used to evaluate offers. 1. Minimum Requirement as stated above. 2. Past Peformance-Provide 3 references with name, address, and telephone number for similar projects completed recently and 3. Cost/Price. All evaluation factors other than cost or price, when combined are approximately equal to cost or price. The NAICS code is 541990 and the applicable size standard is $6 million average receipts.
