Description

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Office of Surface Water, has a requirement for the development of a process and completion of a cost/benefit analysis of streamgaging activities of the USGS under the National Streamflow Information Program. THE USGS ANTICIPATES AWARDING THE PURCHASE ORDER TO THE NATIONAL HYDROLOGIC WARNING COUNCIL, this company offers unique scientific capabilities to this activity and is comprised of three alert associations (the ALERT Users Group, the Southwestern Association of ALERT systems, and the ALERT-FLOWS East Coast Users Group. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY; no formal RFQ will be available. Vendors who possess the above qualifications and skills regarding streamflow and flood forecasts are invited to provide an affirmative response to this notice. An affirmative response must include, but not limited to offered products, price lists, warranties and any additional information indicating a bona fide ability to meet this requirement. All responses must be in writing, no telephone requests will be accepted.
