- The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking an organization or an institution to perform preclinical studies of potential new therapeutics for the prevention or treatment of type 1 diabetes. A clinical evaluation is not desired at this time. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is now available on the NIDDK website at www.niddk.nih.gov under Highlights and under Research Programs. All responses to this RFP shall be submitted no later than 3:00 pm local time on June 3, 2005.
