Description

Contractor to provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary for construction of the project entitled, "Concrete repair and replacement", at the DVA Medical Center, Hwy 6 West, Iowa City, IA, in accordance with the developed plans and specifications. Work includes general construction, alterations, and necessary removal of existing structures and certain other items. The project includes bid alternates. Cost range is $100,000 to $250,000. NAICS Code 238110 with a size standard of $12.0 million applies to this procurement. This procurement is unrestricted. The solicitation documents to include Invitation for Bids, Contract Forms, specifications and drawings will be available by PAPER copies ONLY. The solicitation material will also be provided to the following sources where paper copies may be reviewed or obtained for a fee: Construction Update Plan Room, 5850 6th Street SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404; Master Builders of Iowa 221 Park Street, Des Moines, IA 50309; FW Dodge/McGraw Hill, 1910 East Kimberly Road, Suite 313, Davenport, IA 52807. It is recommended that you complete the solicitation mailing list. Any amendments issued to this solicitation and Bidder's mailing list will only be available by faxing a letter requesting a copy of the bidder's mailing list. Contractors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments. The solicitation will be available on March 21, 2005. Bid opening date is April 20, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. local time.
