Description
VA VISN 22, Network 22 Logistics Office, intends to negotiate a Commercial (FAR Part 12) Firm Fixed Price contract and use of Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR 13) through a Request for Proposal for a total Small Business Set-Aside for NAICS Code 446110, Pharmacies and Drug Stores, size standard $6.0 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 22, is seeking qualified resources to provide Pharmacy Network Services including a Pharmacy Locations Network, Pharmacy Claims Processing, Data conversion, Claim clearinghouse, Call Center Customer Service, Accounts Receivable and Reconciliation. The VISN 22 facilities to be serviced include locations in Southern California: Greater Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Santa Barbara, Lompoc, City of Commerce, Ventura, Gardena, Lancaster, Oxnard, Pasadena, San Luis Obispo, Santa Paula, Sepulveda, Lynwood, Corona, Palm Desert, Sun City, Victorville, Upland and in Southern Nevada: Las Vegas, Pahrump. The solicitation will seek proposals to fill prescriptions for VA beneficiaries as prescribed by VA physicians assigned to the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC). The contractor will be required to have a network of pharmacy locations in the areas specified to fulfill the above-mentioned requirements. The solicitation document with incorporated provisions and clauses will be made available on or about 15 March 2005. The solicitation will specifically provide for the contractor to have a valid State Registered Pharmacist in each pharmacy location. The contract period is projected to be a base year from award of contract, with the Governments option to renew the contract for four (4) optional 1 (one) year periods. Site visits may be required by the VA facility. Copy of the solicitation will be made available upon written or faxed request.
