- Market survey for repair of existing Swisslog Translogic Electric Track Vehicle (ETV) system. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, is conducting a market survey to identify sources and to increase competition acquisition opportunities for installation of new technology and equipment for the existing deteriorated ETV conveyor system at Reynolds Army Community Hospital, Ft Sill, OK. The system repairs and components include upgrade of the existing system electronic controls to ETV45, pro vide 30 new car electronic control board upgrade/repair kits and 10 new ribbon cables. This request is only a market survey, not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list. It is for information purposes only and is not a request for proposal (RFP) or announcement of a solicitation. The requirement is to repair the existing Swisslog Translogic electronic control for an ETV system. All labor, materials and supplies must be furnished for a complete and operating materials distribution system at Reynolds Army Community Hospital, Ft Sill , OK. The existing ETV system is in need of repair consisting of new electronic controls and miscellaneous equipment. Components are failing and need to be repaired/replaced to ensure consistent and complete materials distribution throughout the hospital . The components used must match and be compatible with the existing Swisslog Translogic ETV system. Because the work is required in an operating hospital, workers must comply with infection control and safety requirements. Workers must also be familiar with the requirements of the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Hospital Organizations (JCAHO) for work in operating hospitals. In addition, a portion of the required repairs may occur after normal operating hours to minimize disruption of hospital operations. Firms interested in being considered shall provide brief documentation of the companys capability to perform the work required, and past performance of similar work, specifically in reference to providing and installing the Swisslog Trans logic ETV materials handling system. A list of completed projects with similar requirements shall be submitted, along with the project location, and the names and telephone numbers of customer points of contact. The Government will not pay for any materi al provided in response to this synopsis nor return the data provided. The results of this synopsis will be considered to be in effect for a period of six months from the date of publication of this notice.
