Description

Solicitation 8005-24 seeks helicopter flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) fire suppression programs at Ft. Washakie, Wyoming.???? The exclusive use period will begin on or about June 20 2005, and continue through about September 20, 2005; 93 calendar days. The contract period will be one year from date of award with a government unilateral option of renewal for three additional years. The contract requires a single turbine engine powered helicopter that is capable of meeting the solicitation minimum helicopter requirements. The solicitation also includes target helicopter requirements for greater capability than the minimum requirements. Offers are encouraged for aircraft that meet both the minimum and/or target aircraft requirements. The Contractor shall possess a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 135, 133, and 137.???? The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is March 1, 2005. It is a requirement that the successful awardee be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). The solicitation will be available at this site and www.oas.gov/dam. Set aside for small business.
