Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a sole-source modification to Contract N00019-98-C-0190 with Raytheon Company, 7700 Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22042-2900, for technical and engineering support of the Navy?s common ground control system, Tactical Control System (TCS). The requirement is to provide research and development efforts for interoperability capability analysis, planning and experimentation of TCS to joint Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Raytheon Company is the designer, and developer of the TCS product, and is therefore, the only source that possesses the necessary technical data, knowledge, experience, and expertise to perform these efforts. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. See Note 22.
